Kenya is known to produce the most influential and powerful people... however there are some people that are not really known worldwide but whenever you are talking about Kenya then the conversation is not complete if you have not mention them,

I call them the new era's Che Ernesto Guevara. Kenya being a democratic republic means that the government protects the rights of its citizen. But in this case democracy is just a beautiful name that is used by politicians to cover there dirty game.

Even though Che fought for freedom by use of guns and explosives this Kenyan new era freedom fighters use their right to fight for other people rights.

People like Boniface Mwangi, Robert Alai and others use their freedom of expression for the good of other citizens despite them coming from different ethnic backgrounds. This shows that our ethnic diversity should not be a platform for the so called democrats to feast on us in this "man eat man" society.

"Power"... that is what my fellow comrades like telling me whenever we meet... And yes we are the power. Instead of picking a machete to slash each other physically or engaging in silent cold wars with our diverse neighbors who come from other regions, lets use this freedom of expression to face those in power and tell them "mister so and so, i know you are from my tribe but what you are doing is hurting me... its hurting us... its hurting Kenya." Let us not protect our tribal lines while we suffer individually.

My tribe doesn't feed me, it doesn't dress me, it doesn't pay my fees and bills.

The day we come out of our ethnic cocoon is the day we realize that we have the

power to make wise decisions

power to choose the right leaders

power to summon the leaders and and question them for miss-using the power we gave them.

We are the power. shukran
